There is a lot of debate in the state of Texas as to who is the better college baseball team, there are the two sides that are split on the subject. One side says that the Aggies are the best team, while the other side claims that the Longhorns are the team to watch. All of this is fine and all. There is one team that every year gets ignored when there is talk about great college baseball teams. That team is the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

There is little doubt that the Yankees will make an impressive case as to why they are on the doorstep of beginning another dynasty run. Few players and fans were optimistic last season when the club played one of the best seasons that had in quite a long while. These fans then were tuned into the fact that it was a new day in Yankee Baseball.

The Bullpen is in the best shape that it can be in, there are little doubts that this will not be the best bullpen that is in MLB. Looking at all the other teams, there are no other team that has the kind of pitching power that the Yankees have in their bullpen. It will be next to impossible to get past the pitching power that will be on the mound for the season. The closers are just as strong as the starters are.

There will be a lot of pitching power that will be in the bullpen for the Red Raiders. There is a pitching rotation that will lead the team to score a number of strikeouts against their opponents, this will also yield a number of players that can come in and close the game out for the Red Raiders.

If the other team does get lucky in the fact of scoring a run, there will need to be a great outfield that will need to be in place in order to ensure that the runners do not advance more than they really should. This great outfield will be a key element in the defense of the Red Raiders team. This as a result will be the one thing that will give a lot of teams a lot of trouble in the way of getting extra bases when at bat.

There is never a lack of hitting power when the Red Raiders take the plate. The Red Raiders have proven that they can hit the ball way out of the park. This will be one of the reasons as to why the team will be considered to be a wonderful contender for the CWS title. While there are several players on this team that can bring the heat, the team as a whole will be tough to deal with.

No matter what your opinion of the Texas Tech Red Raiders have been in the past, there will need to be a reevaluation on the teams potential this season. There will be a lot of teams that will be surprised this season to see the Red Raiders in the hunt for the CWS title.
